During a drive in the countryside of Sri Lanka, we came upon an area called Oliphant Village. Strolling through the area on paths and small streets, it was obvious that the people seldom saw people outside of their village, especially foreigners. We were a small group of photographers from the US, Turkey, Europe, and the Bahamas. We were fascinated by the people and they were surely fascinated by us.
