We visited this small mountain village just after an unexpected snow fall. Look closely to see the unique entry statues.
Just inside we were greeting by a group of people enjoying the snow. I am happy my camera is waterproof.
We walked and climbed to visit an 82-year-old woman whose daughter lives with her in a house nestled into the mountain.
Her shoes were left just outside the house.
Inside the house is simple but has been updated through the years.
You can see that though this house is simple and humble, the view from the “porch” is spectacular.

This is the only path to leave the house. I surely hope the woman does not need to traverse this path. It was hazardous.
As we walked through the village we saw this woman who seemed to be navigating the terrain just fine.
