There was a surprise snowfall in this area of Nepal (for that time of year). This made our trek to and up the mountain messy and cold. Our quest was to witness pilgrims participating in rituals. This first image shows the muddy snowy road, followed by the walk up a couple of hundred steps to the site.
And when we arrived at the top we witnessed devoted people jumping in freezing water, splashing themselves with freezing water, and running through a trough with freezing water. Wow!
