Most cities we visited in Mexico have a prominent cathedral in the center of the town square. These beautiful structures can often be seen from many spots outside of the city center, especially from rooftops. And we noted that most of these cathedrals are lighted at night casting beautiful images across the sky.
The ornamental interior of the cathedrals is a sight to behold.
