As we drove down a country road in Jalisco Mexico we spotted a field with many people working. We parked and walked into the field to find families – men, women, and kids picking tomatillo, also known as Mexican husk tomatoes. They were a bit shy but happy to greet us as they continued picking. It seems school was not in session so kids of all ages were there – and picking also.
