Though my visit was a short one, I did see several people working in Havana.

These guys started this enterprise. FREE walking tours in Havana. It is an interesting concept. Since the government takes such a big cut of the income businesses make, this company came up with the idea of FREE tours. This way they make money only from tips. As a participant (tour taker) I was happy to give a nice tip to our tour guide after a 4.5 hour walk through the streets of Havana in very hot weather.

Whether he is working on his own bike or someone else’s is a question. But in many streets this is a common scene – people working in the middle of the street fixing vehicles and other equipment.
