The Ovahanda Tribe’s traditions and adornments are similar to that of the Ovamwilas. They are an endangered tribe. Their traditions are kept alive by a small group of elderly women. To find these women, we had to ask around at the Hoque Market.

I remember first seeing a little foot like this. Yes, it is the way the women carry their babies. This child looked to be closer to two years old and no longer a baby.
