While traveling in Sri Lanka we visited a Buddhist temple on a day when many people were visiting and bringing offerings. I saw a family and when they agreed to let me photograph them I did so. And then each one wanted me to take many photos of them. Some time later the woman in the pink shirt gave me her phone number and asked if I could send her some of the photos via WhatsApp after I returned home.

After returning home I sent her the images and a message. Then, I was delighted to receive a message back within an hour. She was very happy with the photos. I have attached a few of them here.

Then about an hour later she sent a selfie that she took of her and me.

This is one of the many delightful experiences of international travel.
