One evening after dinner in Siem Reap, Cambodia, the ladies (Caroline Page, Linda Hart, and I) decided to have a ladies’ night out. I believe it was a Sunday evening. We took a tuk tuk to a section of town called the Night Market. Here are some of the sights we took in.
Note the tourist (I think the woman was from England) with her feet in the “fish pool.” The fish are garra rufa, rather common in Southeast Asia, I am told. They supposedly eat the dead skin off your feet. And from what we saw, the sensation tickles or feels weird in some way.
This is the pathway outside our rooms just as we returned. The hotel is called the Foreign Correspondents Club. This is where we spent the first week of our trip.
