This elephant sanctuary rescues elephants who have lost their mothers or have been separated from them. The sanctuary protects and feeds them during this transition period until they are old and well enough to be reintroduced into the wild and their natural habitat.

These photos were taken during a visit to the orphanage in April 2025.

Along with our visit, there was a group of students from a private Buddhist school visiting and learning about this establishment.
