The TN History Festival took place in Bicentennial Mall in downtown Nashville on October 14 and 15, 2016. This area has been transformed in the past several years and is definitely worth a visit.

There is history recorded and illustrated in many integrated locations.

 

 

For the TN History Festival, people dressed in period dress, and displayed how people lived, played, worked, and protected themselves and their families.

     Loved watching this woman use her spinning wheel propelled by her foot.

 

 

The process of photography was particularly interesting.

            

Tatting or lace making looked very complex but we were told that it was rather straightforward but tedious.

        

Finally, this young boy was so cute. He was helping his dad demonstrate working with leather.
